Freight Price Increase
Australia Post and our usual couriers (for larger items such as
rolls of anti-bird netting) have increased their prices (some 5.0%) - effective early July 2009. Unfortunately this means we have to pass on those increases.
Light Grade Bird Netting - Extruded Polyethylene
The light grade extruded style of bird netting is no longer manufactured in Australia. The black version is now discontinued
and just low quantities of the white are in stock (no rolls left). Pest-Away Australia will not be re-stocking with any more of this mono-filament type of anti-bird net.
Polycarbonate Spikes - Upgrading the UV Light Protection
Currently, Research & Development trials are in progress which are looking into increasing the amount of UV Light inhibitors used in the manufacture of the Polycarbonate Spikes. Other testing is examining the benefits of using a "Spray On" UV Protection.
