Bird Proofing with Marine Grade Stainless Steel Bird Spikes
For Marine Zones - Normal 302 grade stainless steel will
quickly get "Tea Staining". While this "Tea Staining" does
not affect the structural integrity of the stainless steel
in any way, it may not be desirable from an aesthetics point
of view.
Marine Grade - 316 - stainless steel is now
available for the PAA T24 model of bird spikes.
Using 316 grade
stainless steel will mean that the bird spikes will remain
relatively "Tea Staining" free and will present a better
look to your building.

PAA T24 Model
The PAA T24 model is for Pigeon Proofing.
This model has 'pressed in' spikes which means that the spike base will need to be flush mounted to a flat surface.
So the PAA T24 is not suitable for piping or conduit.
The PAA T24 will protect an area that is up to 225mm wide.
The PAA T24 is superior to the AVIPOINT P20 - Medium model in spike
density, protection area, spike strength and price.
We recommend using a neutral base adhesive for fixing the
spikes - Such as AVISIL or AVIFIX.
