Extra Freight Charge

Pest-Away Australia will work the optimum carrier for shipping your bird netting order. Toll Ipec is our preferred courier if Australia Post cannot be used.

Shipping for bird netting is very complex and some grades will require an extra freight charge added to our standard $8.00 handling fee.

This extra freight charge is not automatically factored into an online order (just the standard $8.00 handling fee is listed). Pest-Away Australia will contact you (phone or email) soon after you place an online order (business hours) to inform you of this extra freight charge.

You can get an idea of the extra freight charge by clicking on the approriate "Estimate Freight" link adjacent to the netting you wish to order.

If you elect to make payment by cheque, money order or bank transfer - You should delay this payment until you know the extra freight charge that will form a new total cost.

Credit Card payments are done manually by our admin staff, so you can go ahead and order your required amount of bird netting. Once we have your agreement on the extra freight charge, the total price can easily be adjusted prior to any credit card transaction.

Because Pest-Away Australia needs to contact you with regard to this extra freight charge, it is important that a phone number or working email address is given (preferably both).

Orders for Light Grade bird netting does not need any extra freight charge. The standard $8.00 handling fee is sufficient.

Whole rolls (or bales) of the Medium Grade bird netting will ship by courier. This will need to have an extra freight charge added.

Shipping costs for orders of 'by-the-metre' Medium Grade bird netting will vary depending upon quantity and ship to address. Smaller quantities can be shipped by Australia Post and it may be possible that the standard $8.00 handling fee will be sufficient provided your address is not considered distant. Remote addresses and larger quantities may need to ship by courier, but either way, an extra freight charge will be likely.
