Irri-Tape

A ribbon of polyester film that has been holographically printed with a pattern of interlocking circles resembling the eyes of owls: the natural enemy of many birds. Irri-Tape is wider (51mm) and stronger (50 microns) than the popular 50m roll of Holographic Flash Tape.

It comes in a 7.6m packet or a 30m roll.

Irri-Tape "flashes" as it moves with the wind. Reflecting the sunlight, it produces constantly changing colours and patterns which the birds find very unsettling.

Pest birds are also rattled by the mettalic noise the tape gives off when it moves with the breeze.

Rooflines, parapet walls or ledges can all be protected with Irri-Tape when used with the special wire supports that come with the 30m roll. Or you could "Maypole" multiple streamers, cut into 2-3m lengths, mounted on a single pole to bird scare in your garden or orchard.
