Bird Proofing with Marine Grade Stainless Steel Bird Spikes

The AVIPOINT range of bird spikes normally come in 302 grade stainless steel mounted into a polycarbonate base. Even in marine zones, AVIPOINT 302 grade is quite adequate in displaying reduced levels of "Tea Staining". However, for bird proofing installations where aesthetics is very important, 316 grade ("Marine Grade") stainless steel can be used.

AVIPOINT P20

AVIPOINT - Marine Grade Stainless Steel Bird Spike Features:

Available in two models, P32 Wide & P20 Medium
The bird spikes are heavy-duty 1.4mm diameter, 316 grade stainless steel, cut flat at the tip to prevent injury to both installers and birds
The bird spikes are moulded into the polycarbonate base for improved durability
The bases are UV resistant polycarbonate, with regular snap-lines
The bases are flexible for using on curves
On the underside of the base is a unique 'glue guide' that allows quick and accurate application of adhesive
Supplied by the metre, made up of 3 x 333mm sections
The sections are 'stackable' - Which means handling & storage is easier

AVIPOINT P20 - Medium This model has a higher density spike pattern and spans a greater width than the P14 model, making it better suited to protecting most building ledges. AVIPOINT P32 - Wide This model has the densest spike pattern and is the product of choice in the widest and most heavily infested areas. The spikes are 139mm high, whilst the outer tips are 200mm apart and designed to protect an area up to 265mm wide.
